Engaged as a brand strategy consultant through Highway 29 Creative, Gosh! led two two-hour brand workshops with the Phelps team, drawing on a methodology rooted in the StoryBrand framework: a structured approach to clarifying a brand's narrative so that every touchpoint tells the same coherent story. The resulting brand book now lives across the Joseph Phelps website and marketing collateral, a foundation built to last well beyond the workshop room.

Where the story starts

Joseph Phelps Vineyards - now part of the LVMH portfolio - is one of Napa Valley's most celebrated estates. Commissioned through US-based wine marketing agency Highway 29 Creative, Gosh! led two immersive two-hour brand workshops with the Phelps team, drawing on the StoryBrand framework: a narrative-led methodology built on the conviction that customers don't buy the best product - they buy the one they understand best. The sessions surfaced the winery's core positioning, sharpened its story and built a brand voice designed to travel - from tasting room to trade, from back label to boardroom. The resulting brand book is the foundation from which all marketing messaging flows, and continues to underpin the Joseph Phelps website and collateral today.
